21 September, 2008 The interest of the audience to the last official working day of International Calligraphic Exhibition was beyond expectations. Today lections and master-classes as well as the exhibition itself attracted a great number of guests.
19 September, 2008 Third day International Calligraphic Exhibition was linked with a vivid event that was a joint master-class of Petr Petrovich Chobitko, Chairman of National Union of Calligraphers and his student Olga Varlamova .
The subject of the master-class was the peculiarity of writing ancient canon, semi-canon, cursive and semi-canon cursive with a broad-end instrument — such as reed, pen and brush.

On 11 September 2008 at 12.00 in the press-centre of PH AiF was presented first and unique in national modern history handwritten variant of Russian Federation Constitution.
This project is a result of collective efforts made by team of calligraphers and editors at the head with a Presidium Chairman of National Union of Calligraphers Petr Petrovich Chobitko. Russian handwritten Constitution is a part of socially educative forum International Calligraphic Exhibition.
8 August, 2008 In St. Petersburg the International Exhibition of Calligraphy organizing committee, President of the National Union of Calligraphers Petr Chobitko met with the famous Russian calligraphers. During the meeting they approved the design of the first handwritten Constitution of the Russian Federation.
